The Wikimedia Foundation, administrator of the free encyclopedia Wikipedia held next August, a new edition of Wikimania, the annual conference of Wikimedia projects.
Wikimania 2009 will be held in Buenos Aires (Cultural Centre General San Martín) from 26 to 28 August and will focus on renowned activists, bloggers and wiki technology specialists, free software, free culture and social movements of the Internet culture.
The conference program will be announced from wikimania2009.wikimedia.org . The conference will be offered in Spanish and English with simultaneous translation.
On August 25, the same General San Martín Cultural Centre, there will be a Spanish edition of the Academy of Wikipedia of free access to the general public oriented.
